Join your APPI Edmonton events committee for an update on the current state and growth prospect of the local economy. John Rose, the City of Edmonton's Chief Economist will provide an overview of developments in the global environment and energy sector. The session will look at current economic indicators and the longer term forecast, followed by a discussion on potential risks to the forecast outlook.

Presenter: John Rose has been the Chief Economist with the City of Edmonton for eight years. John has experience in global consultancies, international mandates with Canadian Embassies and Consulates and senior in-house economic roles in assessing the specifics of the challenges at hand. He delivers value by linking firm and product specific tactical initiatives to the wider macroeconomic environment. Specialties: Trade Promotion, Investment Attraction and Retention, Economic Analysis, Metro and Regional Economic Development, Economics of Media and Advertising Experience.
