APPI’s greatest goal is to promote excellence and professional standards in the field of planning. With our annual APPI Awards, we recognize exemplary work in the planning profession. 

2023 Planning Awards

Awards acknowledge meritorious plans and projects, undertaken in whole or in part by members of the Institute, that significantly contribute to the livability of communities in Alberta, Northwest Territories and Nunavut. Plans and projects specific to rural and indigenous planning are encouraged. A Certificate of Planning Excellence or a Certificate of Planning Merit may be awarded. The awards will be presented at the 2023 Conference, on October 16, in Jasper, Alberta.
