Join us for a webinar with Dr. Larry Frank, Professor from the University of British Columbia's School of Community and Regional Planning.

Dr. Frank will share some of his research that applies a method of neighbourhood selection for environment and health studies combining walkability and sociodemographic factors of land use.

Dr. Frank is the Bombardier Chair and Professor in Sustainable Transport and the Director of the Health and Community Design Lab at the University of British Columbia.He specializes in the interaction between land use, travel behavior, air quality, and health. He has been studying the effects of neighborhood walkability on travel patterns and sustainability for 25 years and has led over $20 million in funded research. He has lead or co-authored over 200 peer reviewed articles and reports, as well as two of the leading books on these topics - Health and Community Design and Urban Sprawl and Public Health.

The event is free however pre-registration is required. Links and login information will be sent with the registration confirmation. There is a limited number of computer connections, however you may have more people in your meeting room or space to participate.
