University of Calgary Event- Reimagining Housing and Cities Symposium

Canada needs 5.8 million new homes by 2030 to restore housing affordability. Cities have a historic opportunity to improve housing outcomes for a fast-growing population by encouraging provision of a variety of homes across the housing continuum to make our cities more inclusive and resilient. Reimaging Housing & Cities symposium highlights critical planning and design strategies to address these challenges through housing market stabilization policies, transit-oriented development, investment in affordable housing and aging in place. The event encourages partnerships for change and action to address the housing affordability crisis in Calgary.
