2026 APPI Nominating Committee Report

The 2026 Alberta Professional Planners Institute (APPI) Nominating Committee gratefully recognizes Khalid Mohammed, Connor Smith, Sue Holdsworth, Margaret Kralt and Nicholas Kuhl, Council terms will end at the 2026 Annual General Meeting to be held virtually on April 30, 2026. APPI also acknowledges Marilyn Hooper’s significant commitment to the Institute, during her more than six years of service as the Public Member on Council. The Public Member position on Council is currently vacant, and the Institute is awaiting confirmation of the new appointee from the Government of Alberta.

The Nominating Committee is pleased to report that the following regulated members in good standing were either recruited by the Nominating Committee or nominated independently. As the number of nominees for Council is equal to the number of vacant Councillor positions, and only one nominee was secured for the position of President Elect, an election will not be held and all nominees will be acclaimed. As a means of introducing the new members of Council to the membership, their platforms are posted below.
