UBC Continuing Studies: Foundations of Cultural Planning Course
An online professional development course; Foundations of Cultural Planning, offered by the University of British Columbia (UBC) Continuing Studies Centre for Cultural Planning and Development.
Foundations of Cultural Planning is a professional development course providing foundations of core knowledge in the field of cultural planning and development to planners in all fields working in municipal, regional and provincial government offices. As one of the core courses offered by the UBC Centre for Cultural Planning and Development, it can be taken individually for professional development, or applied to earn the UBC Certificate in Cultural Planning – a professional learning program delivered completely online.
The course was recently approved for CPL-CPD 36.0 Organized and Structured Learning Units by the Planning Institute of British Columbia. And will qualify for APPI structured learning units as well
By participating in this course, students learn about the concept and practice of cultural planning as an emerging field in the planning sector, while having an opportunity to engage and network with other planners in Alberta, Canada and around the world in an interactive and fully online learning environment.
