Futurescape City Tour - Call For Participants
How might new technologies shape the future of Edmonton and the Alberta Capital Region? How can
innovation be guided to support the future sustainability, prosperity and well-being of our cities and communities? How can we ensure new innovations and new technologies reflect local needs and contexts? What sorts of networks and relationships are needed to support locally accountable forms of innovation?

Join researchers from the University of Alberta’s City-Region Studies Centre in exploring these and other questions as part of an interactive tour examining the relationship between novel technologies and the future of our city-region. In particular, the tour will explore leading research in nanotechnology development and the emergence of a nanotechnology sector in Edmonton. Your voice is important in building a local dialogue around these technologies and the future of Edmonton and the Alberta Capital Region.
