Built and Landscape Heritage Certificate

Registration for the heritage certificate has jsut opened for planning professionals interested in enhancing their knowledge in heritage conservation. 

The School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape at the University of Calgary is offering a new certificate program — tailored to professionals interested in expanding their knowledge in heritage conservation.
 
Introducing the Built and Landscape Heritage Certificate – application deadline Sept 1
The School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape is accepting applications for the new Built and Landscape Heritage Certificate. Application deadline is September 1, 2019. First course towards certificate completion is being offered October 22–26.
 
This certificate can be completed within one year, and will enhance practice of heritage professionals, consultants and policy-makers. Curriculum content explores the links between heritage conservation theory and practice through the lens of research, policy analysis and design intervention at different scales, from a single site to a broad landscape complex.
 
How to apply
To apply for the certificate program, students must submit an application and all supporting materials by September 1.
After being accepted into the program, students will receive instructions for how to enrol in the first block course of \the certificate being offered, EVDS 660 Principles of Historic Policy and Planning. The course runs Tuesday, October 22 until Saturday, October 26.
