2024 APPI Member Renewals and Professional Liability Insurance
APPI membership renewal notices were emailed on November 15, 2023. The 2024 APPI and CIP member renewal process is through the CIP/APPI portal and must be completed by December 31, 2023. Regulated members are encouraged to do so immediately upon receipt of the renewal email, to ensure there are no significant gaps in your Professional Liability Insurance coverage. Failure to remit your 2024 member fees will result in a cessation of your APPI/CIP membership and suspension of registration. The Professional Planner Regulation does not provide for the re-instatement of former or lapsed members of APPI.

NOTE – To reduce the number of members exposed to a lapse in Professional Liability Insurance (PLI) coverage because they do not renew prior to December 31, 2023, APPI is implementing a ONE-TIME transition in the PLI policy term from January - January to a January 1, 2024 - March 1, 2025 policy term. As such, the $57.50 2024 PLI premium is for 14 months of coverage.

APPI members are reminded that membership with CIP is not mandatory for APPI members. If you do not wish to hold membership with CIP for 2024, you will be able to opt out of CIP membership during the 2024 membership renewal process.
