and the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) Wildrose

With the anticipated MGA requirement for municipalities to have engagement strategies, how to effectively engage the public is once again top of mind. The International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) Wildrose will be presenting public participation strategies and techniques to assist members of the Alberta Professional Planners Institute in their public participation activities. The presentation will combine interactive learning sessions and promote thoughtful discussion on what successful and meaningful engagement can mean to a few of the more common roles within the process.

Our presentation will be delivered by Anne Huizinga, Elizabeth Armitage and Jan Bloomfield.

Jan Bloomfield, MA Geography, Principal with Strategy Plus in Edmonton.
Elizabeth Armitage is the Principal of Vicinia Planning & Engagement Inc.
Anne Huizinga joined Urban Systems in 2014.
