APPI Edmonton Event - Sustainable Urban Integration and Edmonton's Valley Line LRT

A new style of LRT is being introduced to the City and along with it, a new of way thinking on how LRT integrates with the City it serves. Cathryn Chopko Beck will present on the concept of Sustainable Urban Integration (SUI) and how is this is incorporated and integrated into Edmonton’s Valley Line LRT project.

Cathryn Chopko Beck, RPP, MCIP, AALA, CSLA is both a Planner and Landscape Architect with over 30 years of professional experience. As an Associate Director with IBI Group, she is a practice leader with a passion for practical and marketable urban design solutions. As an Urban Designer and Strategist, she has been involved in numerous development projects where transit connectivity is integral and meaningful. She presently leads TransEd’s landscape architecture and urban design work for the first stage of the Valley Line LRT project.
