Heritage 101 Course
The Heritage Resources Committee Invites you to attend the Heritage 101 Course

This unique heritage-based course will provide participants with the basics for hands-on heritage conservation in terms of material conservation and heritage conservation theory. The course will be broken into four key sections:
1. Why conserve older buildings?
2. An overview of Medicine Hat’s architecture.
3. Medicine Hat’s Heritage Conservation Program including our regulatory framework as well as the role of the Heritage Resources Committee and granting.
4. Planning for a Heritage Project (Basic Conservation Techniques for restoring houses including siding, window restoration and historic colours, etc.)
