APPI Edmonton Walking Tour- Relics & Remnants: Bits and Pieces of Edmonton’s (Mostly) Lost Historic Architecture | Alberta Professional Planners Institute (albertaplanners.com)

Have you ever wondered where all of Edmonton’s old buildings went? What happened after their fateful demise? Was demolition truly the end? Or do they live on hidden in plain sight…? Look no further! “Relics & Remnants” will take you on a tour of Edmonton’s downtown area exploring the curious, and largely forgotten, architectural fragments of historic buildings that have been left behind after demolition or repurposed. As we re-discover these urban tombstones from our past, you will learn about the architecture of our city, how it’s evolved, and what lessons these fragments can teach us about design, our city and historic preservation.  Join Dan Rose on this in depth walking tour. This tour qualifies for 2.0 structured learning units.
