APPI Edmonton Event - High Level Streetcar Tour and Pub Social

July 12, 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM

Join the City of Edmonton team leading the Old Strathcona Public Realm Strategy to learn about how they’re working with Edmontonians to envision a new future for parks, plazas, parking lots, sidewalks, alleys and streets. 

The Old Strathcona Public Realm Strategy is:
*    imagining a new future for parks, plazas, and redesigning  sidewalks, streets, and alleys
*    prioritizing pedestrians on Whyte Avenue and the addition of mass transit  
*    adding to the vibrant and diverse opportunities for people to live, work and play within Old Strathcona and surrounding neighbourhoods

The team will share what they’ve heard from Edmontonians so far and the series of design ideas that explore possible improvements.

Schedule and Location

5:00 pm-depart at Strathcona Station
5:10 pm- presentation and questions
5:45 pm- arrival at Garneau Station + departure
6 pm- arrival at Strathcona Station
6:30 pm- Finish/pub for anyone who would like to attend (pub portion is at the attendees' expense)

Meeting at the Strathcona Station Barn, Whyte Avenue Terminus. Parking can be found at: Diamond Parking Services: East side of 103rd Street (Gateway Boulevard) and Precise Parklink, 8419-104 Street
