Deadline Approaching! APPI Planning Awards - Call for Submissions - 3:30 PM April 10, 2019

Each year the Alberta Professional Planners Institute recognizes exemplary work within the planning profession. Awards acknowledge meritorious plans and projects, undertaken in whole or in part by members of the Institute, that significantly contribute to the livability of communities in Alberta, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.

APPI 2019 Spring Education Sessions and the Regulating the Profession Course

We are pleased to offer two education sessions and the professional ethics course on Friday, April 26, 2019. Gain your continuous professional learning units early!

2019 APPI Volunteer Awards and Appreciation Celebration

On the evening of Friday April 26, APPI will host the 2019 Volunteer Awards and Appreciation Celebration at the Charbar Restaurant located at 618 Confluence Way SE, Calgary.

This event is an opportunity to relax, re-connect and network with colleagues and friends in the planning profession, while celebrating the contributions of APPI volunteers, and recognizing newly certified RPP members, recipients of the APPI Student, Legacy, and Volunteer Recognition Awards, and long-term RPP members.

While invitations have been issued to those being honoured at the event, any members who would like to participate are welcome to purchase tickets at a rate of $50 (plus GST).  As space may be limited, please click here to purchase a ticket. Those who have received the invitation are able to rsvp via the electronic message.

We look forward to sharing a memorable evening with you as we celebrate the ongoing success of our members and of the profession at this great annual event.

APPI 2019 Council Election

The deadline for receipt of your postal ballot or electronic ballot is April 22, 2019.
