2023 APPI Member Renewals
The 2023 APPI and CIP member renewal notices were issued electronically on November 16, 2022. The renewal process is through the new CIP/APPI portal. CIP membership is not mandatory for APPI members. If you do not wish to hold membership with CIP for 2023, you may opt out of CIP membership by not selecting that option on the renewal form. Members are strongly encouraged to complete the renewal process and remit their 2023 member fees (via credit card and the online payment system) OR request an invoice prior to January 1, 2023. Completing that process will ensure that there are no gaps in your Professional Liability Insurance coverage. If you have not received your 2023 member renewal email, please email [email protected].
Continuous Professional Learning (CPL) Reporting Deadline Extended: January 19, 2023
All regulated APPI members (Registered Professional Planners and Candidates, including RPP and Candidate Non-Practicing) are required to report a minimum of 18 Learning Units (LU's). Due to the new system and high volume of usage that the CPL system is experiencing, APPI is extending the reporting deadline to the end of the day on January 19, 2023. Log into the new CIP/APPI portal to report your CPL activities. PTIA Member Login | CIP (cip-icu.ca)
If you are experiencing a life change or challenge, that may prevent your ability to comply with the CPL program and would like to inquire about special consideration to reduce CPL reporting requirements, or if you require clarification about the CPL program or the reporting of your CPL, please contact Vicki Hackl at [email protected].
