Have You Reported Your Continuous Professional Learning (CPL) Units Yet?APPI applauds those 274 regulated members who are fully compliant with their 2019 CPL requirements and the additional 531 members who have reported some units and are working towards compliance! All regulated APPI members (Registered Professional Planners and Candidate members) are required to report their Learning Units (LU's) for 2019, on or before December 31, 2019. CPL reporting has been a regulatory requirement since 2013. Information on the CPL program and the process of reporting LU's is posted here: https://www.albertaplanners.com/professional-development/continuous-professional-learning APPI will NOT mail hard copy report cards for 2019, and CPL compliant and non compliant reminder letters will NOT be emailed to regulated members. This information is accessable in your CIP member profile.Members who are non-compliant with the established criteria of the CPL program at the end of the calendar year shall be removed from the Register of members in Good Standing – effective January 1, 2020. Those same members remain “not in good standing” until they acquire and log the missing LU's, and formally request their membership to be reactivated via confirmation of CPL compliance, submission of a reactivation form and the applicable reactivation fee.
