Technology is an accepted part of our everyday life. Emerging technologies continue to evolve, not only changing our daily lives, but changing our expectations of how companies and governments work. No longer are artificial intelligence and autonomous vehicles science fiction fodder - now they are tools that will define our future communities. These shifting expectations and technologies impact city planning and community building.
Join Lana Phillips, RPP, the Initiative Lead for the Urban Form Business Transformation Initiative with the City of Edmonton, to explore and discuss how emerging technologies impact the business of city building as well as the role of planners.

Chicago's Regional Water Management | Climate Change in the Calgary Region
Please join the CMRB and The City of Calgary as we welcome Mr. Josh Ellis, Vice-President of the Metropolitan Planning Council as he shares Chicago’s regional water management approach and Dr. David Sauchyn, Director of the Prairie Adaptation Research Collaborative (PARC) at the University of Regina who will discuss his research on climate variability and adaptation in Southern Alberta.

CIP first-ever, pan-Canadian compensation and benefits survey for the planning profession will launch next week.
The survey will be emailed directly to you from APPI and should take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
The survey is being managed by Bramm Research and your submitted responses will go directly to Bramm Research. All responses are completely confidential and no personal or organization names will be associated with responses.
