Code of practice for wetland replacement works

Description

This code of practice regulates wetland restoration and wetland construction activities as defined in the Code by replacing Water Act approval requirements. Wetland restoration is applied to wetlands that have been partially or completely lost by re-establishing the pre-disturbance area, natural drainage pattern, hydrology and natural processes. Wetland construction involves creating a wetland at a location that was previously non-wetland.
