APPI Edmonton Event - Public Places Plan Walking Tour

Join Paul Giang, Open Space Planner at the City of Edmonton, in a walking tour about the Draft Downtown Public Places Plan. Attendees will learn about the Big Moves and directions stemming from the Plan as well as personal insights and challenges in Downtown’s open space network. The walk will explore future open space developments and new proposals west of 104 Street.

The tour is a three-kilometre circular route (approximately 1.5-2 hours) and will include a water/bathroom break in the middle. The tour will start at the northwest corner of 106 Street and Jasper Avenue in front of the Boston Pizza. The tour will finish at the Downtown Farmers Market at 104 Street around noon. Come prepared with comfortable shoes. The tour will happen rain, snow or shine.
