APPI New Candidate Application and Certification PSB Session

Presented by Gary Buchanan, RPP, MCIP, PSB Board of Directors and MaryJane Alanko, APPI Executive Director. Lyla Peter, RPP, MCIP, who has just successfully gone through the process, will talk about her experience and give pointers!

Calling all new and unregistered planners! APPI invites you to join a new members information session that will cover the following:

- an overview of the Professional Standards Board

- the two types of application assessment

- process when applying for Candidate membership

- process to become a certified Registered Professional Planner

- what is a mentor

- what is a sponsor

- the regulation and expectations of a Registered Professional Planner

- benefits of becoming an APPI member

In order to answer your questions at the session, please email them to the APPI office prior to September 12th.

This session is free, however pre-registration is required.

This event qualifies for 2.0 structured learning units.

Thank you to the University of Alberta's Applied Land Use Planning Program for hosting this session.

The session will be held in Room 2-957 on the second floor of Enterprise Square, through the double doors before the pedway to Manulife Place. Enterprise Square can be accessed from the Bay Enterprise Square LRT on the lower level. Parking is available in various parkades.

The City Market takes place on 104 Street in between Jasper and 103 Avenue. And along 102 Avenue in between 103 Street and 105 Street, therefore these roadways will be closed.
