Alberta Sustainable Planning Initiative (ASPI)

The Planning in Alberta Task Force has been renamed in order to  better articulate its focus - advocating for sustainability through comprehensive planning. The name is now Alberta Sustainable Planning Initiative (ASPI) and is comprised of planners from the municipal, provincial and private consulting sectors serving in a volunteer advisory role for APPI. For further information on the intent, role and focus that APPI can play in addressing current provincial issues click here.

Join APPI Council and Edmonton area professional planners for a social starting at 4:30pm at Beer Revolution, 11736 104 Avenue in Edmonton on Friday March 24, 2017.​ This event is free and pre-registration is not required.

Let's Talk Parks! Advancing BREATHE: Edmonton's Green Network Strategy

March 15, 2017 at the City Room in City Hall, 1 Sir Winston Churchill Square, Edmonton.

Presentations will be given by Dr. Douglas Olson, Landscape Architect, Planner and President of O2 Planning+Design at both events to share highlights of the strategy.

Lunchtime event: 12:00 - 1:00pm
Evening event: 6:00 - 8:00pm
APPI members are invited to attend either of these two events and registration is not required. Structured learning units can be applied using 1.0 for each 1.0 hour of learning.
