APPI Council Call for Nominations

The term of office for two members of the Alberta Professional Planners Institute (APPI) Council will conclude at the next Annual General Meeting (AGM) and nominees are required to fill these Councillor positions.  These positions are for a two-year term commencing April 29, 2021.

All nominees for Councillor must submit a completed Councillor Nominee Declaration Form signed by two Regulated members, neither of whom may be the individual nominated, before the call for nominations closes.  

All nominations must be filed with the Nominating Committee via the APPI Office on or before Friday February 26, 2021. Nominations may be submitted by email to [email protected], Attention: APPI Nominating Committee.

2021 APPI Member Renewal Invoices

The 2021 APPI/CIP member renewal invoices were issued in early December 2020 and were due January 4, 2021.   Please submit your payment via the APPI website or directly from the electronic invoice message.  Payments must be received by March 31, 2021 to remain a member in good standing and avoid a 10% late penalty fee. If you have not received your invoice, please email [email protected].

The University of Alberta Planning Program invites you to participate in the Planning Internship Program 2021

The Planning Internship Program facilitates the recruitment of co-op/internship students for 4, 8 or 12 month terms, with start dates beginning May, September or January. We offer recruitment assistance and services at no cost, however the internship placements themselves must be paid. 

Work experience connects students and employers; helping to bridge the gap between what students learn in the classroom and workforce requirements. The U of A Planning Program is competitive and in order for students to be eligible for work experience they must meet minimum GPA and pre-requisite requirements.
