Submission Deadlines Extended for APPI Planning Awards, Student Education Scholarships & Student Conference Awards

Due the unprecedented public health situation, APPI is extending the deadline for the 2020 APPI Planning Awards, Student Education Scholarships & Student Conference Awards to 3:00 PM, Thursday, May 14, 2020.

During this challenging time, the Institute will continue to provide services to its members, including proceeding with the 2020 Planning Awards to ensure that we celebrate exemplary planning work within our profession and communities.   APPI will also continue to support the planning students studying in our jurisdiction by offering the 2020 Student Education Scholarships & Student Conference Awards, ensuring that students have access to these valued opportunities.

The 2020 APPI Volunteer Awards and Appreciation Celebration scheduled for April 30, 2020 in Edmonton, has now been cancelled. Moving forward, the Institute will explore opportunities to recognize and celebrate our members for their dedication and contributions to APPI and the planning profession, later in 2020, including but not limited to the rescheduling of this event.

If you have any questions regarding APPI membership, member services, etc. or just need a friendly phone call or email, please reach out to any of the APPI Administration team, who are working remotely to maintain services and support to you our valued members. Please watch for additional information regarding the upcoming virtual APPI AGM on April 30, 2020.  APPI will also be offering more webinars to supplement your learning and networking opportunities, until such time as it is safer to resume interpersonal contact.
