APPI Response and Recommendations Regarding COVID-19

APPI is committed to the health and protection of our members and APPI event attendees.  With the continued spread of the COVID-19 outbreak, in order to reduce and respond to risks, APPI will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation.  Events will be cancelled when the appropriate risk mitigation is not possible, in compliance with recommendations from health officials, and will provide registrants with as much advance notice as is possible.  

Although the risk in Canada is low, the current COVID-19 situation is uncertain and still evolving.  We respectfully ask that you do not participate in any events if you are ill, or if you have recently traveled and encourage you take the steps necessary to stop the spread of COVID-19:

 ·         Stay at home when you’re sick

·         Wash your hands properly

·         Limit social contact

·         Be candid about travel, health and/or contact with persons who have
          traveled.
