APPI Calgary Event - Complete Streets Design & Construction Standards

Wednesday, June 19, 2019
Registration: 11:30 AM Presentation: 12:00 - 1:00 PM

Tivoli Hall, The Danish Canadian Club, 727 11 Avenue SW, Calgary

Complete streets deal with the spatial relationships between land use and transportation infrastructure design. The compatibility of needed infrastructure within road rights-of-way affects the uses and forms of development in adjacent development sites. Ongoing refinement of design elements and their form will be discussed. Long-term sustainability of these integrated spaces while providing appropriate access to land uses is the end goal.

Presenter: Joe Olson, P.Eng., PTOE, Associate, Transportation, Stantec
Click here to register and pay online. A hot buffet meal will be provided. This event qualifies for 1.0 structured learning unit.
