2018 Continuous Professional Learning

APPI encourages its regulated members to map out their CPL learning in advance with conscious direction and alignment to their professional needs and the core competencies for the planning profession.

Learning activities offered by providers other than APPI may qualify for structured learning units. There are many organizations that offer in-person and online learning opportunities, where members can pursue their own professional planning interests or specialities.

Members may coordinate and participate in a group viewing of a video or podcast followed by an interactive group discussion of the content viewed. The time spent viewing and discussing the content may then be logged as structured learning for the purposes of their CPL learning.
