APPI and CIP Member Services

Important Dates

APPI Member Services Upgrade

As part of our commitment to providing greater impact and value to our members, we have been working hard with CIP on transitioning to a new member services database. The new system will provide APPI members with a much-improved and refined user experience.

As a result, a number of online member services will temporarily be unavailable from August 14 to November 1, 2022. APPI staff will be on hand to help during this transition.

We strongly encourage you to log into the member portal by 11 p.m. EST on August 13, to access the services that will be affected during the data migration, including:

•    updating profiles (e.g., contact or billing information)
•    searching the CIP membership directory (APPI’s membership directory will still be available)

In addition, for regulated members (RPP and Candidate members) only, as previously advised, you will be unable  to update your CPL or save a copy for your records.

During the transition period, the Plan Canada archives and CIP Professional Learning HUB will remain available.

As of August 14, the CIP member login page will be updated with a detailed list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) to address specific services affected by the transition and ways that CIP will support members.

Thank you for your patience during this time. We are looking forward to the new system and know that it will be well worth the wait! In the meantime, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected] or [email protected].

Calls to Action

Most pressing at this time are the following actions required from you as member to help us transition as smoothly as possible:

1: Current Contact Information

Ensure your contact information is current, both home and employer information. Notify the APPI office if you have made any moves and we will update your APPI and CIP profiles for you. Click here for the Change of Contact Form.

2: 2022 Continuous Professional Learning (CPL) Reporting

Member login to the CIP website will be unavailable from August 14 to November 1, 2022.

Please go to the CIP website at Home | CIP (cip-icu.ca), login and input your CPL units acquired to date before August 14, 2022. If you attended the CIP conference ensure you log those units as well, if you had not scanned them at the conference.
