2022 APPI Member Renewals
The 2022 APPI and CIP member renewal invoices will be issued electronically on or before December 10, 2021. The electronic invoice will be your official invoice for the purposes of payment and a hard copy of the invoice will not be mailed unless you make a specific request to the APPI office.
Member renewal fees are due by January 4, 2022 and payment may be made via the QuickBooks online payment system, or via cheque to APPI. The option of renewing via the APPI website will not be available for 2022.
If you have not received your invoice by December 10, 2021, please email [email protected].
APPI members are reminded that membership with CIP is not mandatory for APPI members. If you do not wish to hold membership with CIP for 2022, you may opt out of CIP membership by emailing that request to [email protected]. You will then be emailed a revised 2022 invoice with the CIP member fees removed.

Changing your Member Status
Information about how to change your member status for 2022, is available on the APPI website click here and specific questions can be directed to the APPI Registrar at [email protected].
Consequences of 2021 Continuous Professional Learning (CPL) Non-Compliance
AND/OR Not Renewing Membership for 2022
The Professional Planner Regulation does not provide for the re-instatement of former or lapsed members of APPI. Therefore, if you are experiencing challenging circumstances that may prevent you from meeting your regulated member obligation of 2021 CPL compliance and/or paying your 2022 member fees, you are encouraged to contact the APPI office immediately, rather than let your membership lapse.
There is no option for those who are removed from the roster for 2021 CPL non-compliance and/or non-payment of their 2022 fees, to be reinstated at a later date, rather those same former members will only be eligible to rejoin the Institute in the future, by re-applying as new members and re-certify via the current and complete certification process and via the Professional Standards Board for the Planning Profession in Canada.
Thank you for your ongoing support of APPI and the profession!
