Call for VolunteersThe Professional Education and Examination Committee of the Professional Standards Board for the Planning Profession in Canada (PSB) is looking for a 3-7 qualified volunteers from across the country to serve on an Advisory Group to review content it has developed related to Indigenous Planning for its Professional Examination for the certification of Registered Professional Planners/Licensed Professional Planners in Canada, including Examination questions and Study Guide materials. The work would involve independent review of the materials and 1-3 meetings with the group within the next 3-6 months to discuss feedback on the materials. Members of the Advisory Group have significant expertise in Indigenous Planning and may also be part of Indigenous communities. The Advisory Group may be called upon for future consultation as well. Employment Opportunity for Recent Grads of Post-Secondary Insitutions - BRACE Program - Adaptation Resilience Training ProjectAs a recent graduate or soon-to-be grad from an accredited Alberta post-secondary institution, you are invited to apply for the Adaptation Resilience Training project to help Alberta prepare for the impacts of a changing climate. As a project assistant, you will gain early career experience working with skilled professionals on real-world adaptation issues. Project assistants will help develop and deliver training materials and other resources to professionals working across diverse sectors. You will help host organizations understand and manage their climate change risks, and support adaptation-related activities. Host organizations include businesses, governments and non-profits involved in water management, infrastructure, community planning and agriculture. These are full time, paid positions (up to 35 hours/week) for a period of 6–8 months.
