Collaboration with others is essential for getting things done in a time of scarce resources. This is no less the case for professional planners – be they private or public sector. Collaboration for Planners can be peer to peer within their own organizations, between difference organizations, between the private and public sectors and between different levels of government.  Often Planners prepare their work for politicians to decide upon -a key to having such recommendations accepted is to demonstrate it was achieved through collaboration with others.

Join the moderator and guest panelists who will draw upon their experiences and successes at bridging gaps between levels of government, politicians and administration, the public and private sectors and the urban and rural sectors and to explore how planners might pursue collaboration to improve public and private development decisions and better outcomes for their communities.

This session qualifies for 1.5 structured learning unit.

Free of charge but pre-registration is required.
