APPI Council Outreach - Yellowknife & Northern Planners

Where: In and Around the City of Yellowknife

Why: An opportunity for APPI Members and practicing professional planners in Yellowknife anCAITLIN HANLYd area to network and learn along with APPI Council. 

When: August 22nd & August 23rd, 2019

What:  The following is a list of events currently being organized, details to follow:

• Showcase of planning excellence in the north
• BDene Aboriginal Awareness Workshop
• APPI Regulating the Profession Rules to Live (or Die) By Course
• Public Lands Act Professional Discussion
• City/YKDFN Boundaries and Relationships Professional Discussions
• Lunch & Learn with GNWT Departments
• Urban Healing Camp tour
• Yellowknife Walk and Planning Discussion
• Plus a variety of tours and social events providing great networking opportunities

All events, with the exception of those that are strictly social in nature, are eligible to be logged by regulated APPI members for the purpose of their 2019 Continuous Professional Learning (CPL) reporting, using the guideline that one hour represents one Structured Learning Unit (LU).
