APPI Curling Funspiel

What is the APPI funspiel?
The APPI funspiel is the APPI Edmonton Events Committee’s first ever one day curling tournament! It’s a great opportunity for experienced and non-experienced curlers to get together and have some fun competition with your colleagues.

Do I need to know how to curl?
No, curlers of all levels (including beginners) are welcome at the funspiel! We will make sure we have someone to help coach newbies through the basics.

Do I need to be an APPI member to participate?
No, everyone is welcome to come and participate. Feel free to invite your friends, partners or colleagues to join in! 

When is it?
The event is taking place from noon to 5pm on Friday April 14, 2023.

Saville Community Sports Centre

Do I need a team or can I register as an individual?
You can register a team (up to 4 players) or register as an individual and we will place you on a team, pending registration numbers.

What do I need to bring?
If you have your own curling equipment you are free to bring it. If not, rentals will be provided. There is also a cash bar and food that can be purchased at the event.

How much does it cost?
Individual cost: $37.50
Group cost (Teams of 4): $150.00
